Every registration honors the memory of Captain Richard J. Cashin and supports the Boxford Athletic Association Scholarship — a proud community tradition of grit, gratitude, and giving back.
Set on the shores of Stiles Pond at Keith Koster Park in Boxford, MA, this sprint-distance course is fun and welcoming for first-timers, seasoned racers, and families alike — bring the kids to cheer from the beach and stick around for the finish-line festivities.

One clockwise loop around the buoyed course. Wetsuits welcome; kayak support on the water throughout.
10 Miles · Boxford Loop
Rolling, closed-to-minimal-traffic loop through Boxford. Marshals and signage at every turn.
1.5 Miles · Park Trail Loop
Shaded trail loop finishing on the main lawn. Water stop at the midpoint.

Anyone 16+ can race individually; relay teams of 2–3 are welcome, and all skill levels are encouraged to join. This is a fun, family-friendly community event — kids and spectators are welcome to cheer from the beach.
